Designer and owner of seam® is Sibylle Kuhn. As skilled dressmaker she takes great interest in craftsmanship of all kinds and often finds inspiration for her work in nature. After her education in couture and she worked in London as creative blacksmith and taught art classes at several schools and colleges. After successful graduation in fashion-design in Zurich she started in 2009 her own label seam.
Sibylle Kuhn makes fashion independent of season or trends. Design and realisation is free flowing. Personally handpicked materials are basis and inspiration in unison of all her creations.
In an unmistakeable way the seam becomes the statement – ripped edges become trademarks – the play with transparency and reversibility becomes the signature style.

Local high-quality materials, state-of-the art workmanship, ladies wear in small series and custom-tailored pieces – this is seam. As a slow fashion label seam is dedicated to sustainably and locally produced garments of timeless beauty. All designs are created, developed and handmade in the seam-atelier. The fabrics used come all from local productions.
